Our vision:
"To make the nicest house in the street"

There are very few cities in the world that hide as many architectural treasures as Berlin. Due to wars and a long history, buildings that were once masterpieces have laid dormant for many decades. In old noble residential areas, it is fascinating to see how extravagant and elaborate the various entrances are with doors, murals, stucco and decoration. There are actually no entrances that are allike. After WW II and while Berlin was an "island" in DDR, there were few who invested in the beauty of the past and many of these great architectural pearls have laid untouched since the ravages of war. In certain periods after the war, landowners were given financial support to remove stucco and decoration on facades that could harm passers-by on pavements. Therefore, many of the facades are still smooth plastered. If you are lucky, you can still find the original plans in the City Archives if they were not destryed. On several occasions now, we have tried to find something reminiscent of the original facade to restore some of the beauty of old Berlin City.

Example 1: Wrangelstrasse 83, Kreutzberg (under construction)

This building built in 1885 für Bauherr Julius Fuchs was destroyed during World War II and rebuilt in the 1980´s. Only the front building survived out of three large buildings with thre backyards. The cellars to all of them still exists filled with debre from the buildings!!
Now the fasade will be renovated and 3 new loft apartments will be built
.

Example 2 : Lietzenburgerstrasse 96, Charlottenburg
Building from 1914, parallellstreet to Kurfürstendamm. Whole house totalallyrenowated (elektro, pipes etc), 170 windows replaced, new fasade, 8 balconies buildt, building insolated, new inhouse lift, all apartments totally renovated (stuck, floors, doors etc)

Example 3: Kantstrasse 82, Charlottenburg (under construction)

"Schöne "Altbau" building from 1916. 187 windows where replaced, new fasade, top-insolated, central district heating, 16 balconies built, 2 lifts built and 4 loft apartments built. Finished spring 2024.

Example 4:  Charlottenstrasse 47, Lankwitz

This building was built approximately 1920 as a combined private home with a carpentry-factory on the lower floors. It was then a noble house in Bayerische-style. However during WW II it was hit and the top floor was totally destroyed and the building was turned into a "shoe-box".

In 2019 we built a new Roof with six apartments in a more modern way with a roof garden on top. New central heating.
